The head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce announced that all commercial borders remain active except for Chazzabeh, with negotiations underway to normalize the situation.
Yahya Al-e Eshaq, head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, stated that despite temporary fluctuations, the strategic economic relations between the two nations remain robust. He confirmed that while the Chazzabeh border is temporarily closed, all other border crossings are fully operational for trade.
Al-e Eshaq emphasized that both Tehran and Baghdad are actively working to resolve the temporary restriction, noting that prolonged closures serve neither country's interests. He encouraged economic operators to utilize alternative routes while officials coordinate to restore normal operations at the affected crossing.
