The Chairman of the Iranian International Transport Companies Association announced that the Rimdan border with Pakistan is closed, while operations continue at the Mirjaveh border and all Iraqi crossings.
Ehsan Malekzadeh, Chairman of the Iranian International Transport Companies Association, stated that while traffic is ongoing at most of the country's borders, some experience truck congestion. Regarding the Iran-Pakistan border, he confirmed that the Rimdan border is currently closed to traffic. However, imports and transit to third countries remain active at the Mirjaveh border.
Regarding the Iran-Iraq border, Malekzadeh noted that all crossings are open, and there is no credible information regarding the closure of passenger terminals. Overall, there are no significant issues reported at the Iraqi borders, despite occasional truck delays at certain points.
