The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) has issued a new directive setting seven conditions for the clearance and licensing of imported vehicles lacking a valuation ID.
IRICA has issued a directive to customs directors regarding the clearance of vehicles imported by Iranians living abroad. For vehicles lacking a Tariff Value ID (TSC), clearance is now conditional upon seven requirements, including a notarized commitment to pay any potential difference in import duties. The system will lock vehicle registration until final valuation and settlement are confirmed. Furthermore, coordination with the Economic Security Police is required for transport, and files must be submitted to the Customs Valuation Office. Final licensing will only be granted once the TSC is generated and all financial obligations are fully met.
