The Rail Transport Companies Association has mandated that forwarding companies strictly adhere to approved tariffs for rail freight services.
With the increase in cargo transit via northern rail routes, the Rail Transport Companies Association has established a clear framework for forwarding service fees. Forwarding companies are required to calculate and charge fees strictly according to these approved tariffs. Cargo owners who encounter charges exceeding these rates can submit documentation to the Association for investigation and resolution. Additionally, a tripartite agreement on import duty insurance between the Association, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, and Moallem Insurance has been in effect since June, facilitating trade and reducing financial risks within the transit chain.
