The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) has extended the delegation of authority to executive customs offices until December 2026 to facilitate vehicle and machinery imports.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration has extended the delegation of authority to executive customs offices until the end of December 2026. This decision aims to reduce administrative correspondence and support domestic industries. Under this directive, executive customs offices can independently handle the temporary entry of passenger vehicles and construction machinery without requiring central headquarters approval. Furthermore, the extension of temporary import permits for goods processing and the temporary exit of non-motorized trailers have been streamlined. This regulation is now mandatory across all customs offices to accelerate procedures and support economic stakeholders.
