Following a joint meeting between private sector representatives, parliament members, and port authorities, a special committee was established to urgently address supply chain and maritime transport challenges.
In response to recent developments affecting the national supply chain, a joint meeting was held between the Shipping Association of Iran, members of the Parliament's Civil Commission, and the Ports and Maritime Organization. Private sector representatives presented reports on the current state of ports and logistics challenges. Parliament members emphasized the need to support the transport chain. It was decided that a specialized committee will be formed within 24 hours to monitor issues daily and develop immediate executive solutions to remove obstacles in trade and the supply of essential goods.
