DP World has introduced a temporary arrangement allowing import containers to be discharged at Khorfakkan Port or Fujairah Port and then moved by bonded road transit to Jebel Ali for customs clearance.
In response to the current regional situation, DP World has set up a temporary import arrangement. Customers can now discharge import containers at Khorfakkan Port or Fujairah Port. DP World, together with shipping lines and authorities, will coordinate bonded road transit to move the containers to Jebel Ali Port for final clearance. Upon arrival at Jebel Ali, import customs clearance and duty payment will be processed through Dubai Trade as usual. The arrangement covers both import and Free Zone shipments.
